The Middle Way

In Buddhist tradition, the middle way, or the middle path, is the way of moderations between the two extremes of indulgence and self denial. And it is said that this is the way to peace and liberation. The middle way gives vison and knowledge and leads to calm, to insight, to enlightenment and to nirvana.

So, what does this mean for us in our day to day lives? And, most importantly, what does it mean for you?

Are there areas of your life where there are extremes in your thinking, your attitude, your emotions, your behaviour? Do you go so hard core into one thing or one area, that you neglect other areas or responsibilities? Do you let your emotions take over without thinking?

What is the cost to seeing things as "this or that", rather than "and & and"?

For example, what would the middle way look like for you in your life if you could:

  • know your priorities & non-negotiables AND be selfless
  • be disciplined AND flexible
  • can eat what you like AND choose not to
  • be rational in your thinking AND in tune with your emotions
  • follow your dreams AND stay grounded

My Mission

Host

My mission in life is to share everything I have learned – and am continuing to learn – about turning my own life around and to really help you understand that happiness is to be found in the overcoming of obstacles and challenges in your life, and not in the absence of them.  To achieve your potential in life, you need to become your potential.  And for that to be, you need to understand yourself, and learn how to harness your strengths and overcome your weaknesses.   You have the power within you to create whatever reality you choose, and I am here to help you know that if you don’t like what you are experiencing, then you can absolutely change that.   But you do have to choose, believe, and be open to all possibilities, and to keep showing up every day, even when it feels really hard. Because if you do what is easy, your life will be hard.  But if you do what is hard, your life will be easy.
