  • To call yourself a Happiness Hunter!

The mission is world peace.

And it starts with each of us taking 100% responsibility for ourselves and our own lives.

I’ve achieved amazing results from being alerted to things via the Bootcamp, and been able to fill gaps like ‘writing my book’ and setting goals – the latter has also had incredible results – especially recently, like in the past few weeks. I actually noticed that I’d printed out the goal sheets each bootcamp but NEVER filled them in! So three weeks ago I filled it out and STUFF I WROTE DOWN HAS ALREADY HAPPENED! It was the Bootcamp that reminded me to do it – a repeated reminder. Ticking that “book” box was very powerful. I didn’t really have hesitations about working with you, maybe I thought the commitment of time for the Bootcamp would be big, but I’ve found that every minute spent on the Bootcamp has quite amazing results.

I’ve enjoyed the encouragement Fiona provides throughout the process. Many of her sayings come to mind: “the thing is not the thing!”.

And “doing the work”.

I’ve accomplished great things that were inspired by realisations brought up the Bootcamp. But more importantly, realised that ‘doing the work’ is ongoing. I did think it was a process of – “do it once” and “ta da” all fixed. Now I realise it is an ongoing process – for life. But I have ongoing access to the Bootcamp so I can go back at any time. And I do!

I’d recommend Fiona to anyone who needs a wake-up call and is prepared to do the work – and there’s not much, really! I like how she hones in on the little things that we can change – not the big, oh my god stuff. Little things, little thought patterns that we can work on changing. Those small things are easy to remember, easy to implement, and they have big impacts.

The Happiness Hunter Bootcamp provided a great framework for me to live ‘the best life possible’.

I didn’t have huge difficulties in life nor major obstacles to overcome, just a general feeling that life was short and that I wanted to make sure I was living it to the fullest. Through Fiona’s work, I think I’m on the way to this.

I’ve learnt to let go of things in the past, and concepts that I’d previously read about such as living in the moment and gratitude have become part of my makeup.

I would definitely recommend the bootcamp. She has an amazing way of teaching fundamental concepts that improve peoples lives.

Organising Spaces

In my early 40s, I realised I needed to make changes in my life – instead of surviving life, I wanted to thrive. That journey started just over 5 years ago with a year’s sabbatical from full time work. It gave me flexibility, plus space and time to discover myself, however, the change did not suit my family. I worked hard juggling a part time job, a business and a contract, life was still pressured and chaotic. My marriage was in turmoil and a year later, I had separated from my partner, went from two incomes and one household, to one income and two households after he was made redundant and it was another year before he gained employment. During which time I moved house, agreed a financial settlement and my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I would become his primary carer. I was still in survival mode. I wanted to thrive.

The survival mode was depleting me emotionally and physically. I struggled with anxiety (a lifelong condition) and felt overwhelmed and stressed. I was not looking after myself, I put on weight, I was tired and emotionally exhausted. My outlook on life was forward thinking and positive that I would survive this period of my life, but it felt like nothing was changing. I lacked direction and purpose.

I was looking for a retreat, time to go away and heal myself. So when the retreat I was booked into cancelled, I declined the offer to join the Happiness Hunter Bootcamp. I thought it was not what I was looking for, only to change my mind six months later when I signed up for the next retreat, and joining the bootcamp was a prerequisite of attending. I discovered that the bootcamp would give me a framework to start turning my life around and achieve my goal of thriving, not surviving. I started on my fitness as the main focus, and alongside worked on family, friends and work

I improved my meditation practice and I walked every day. I joined a 12 week exercise and nutrition program, continuing for a second round and lost 16 kilos over six months. I undertook a daily gratitude practice. I turned my mindset around.

All the little steps I have taken in the different elements of my life have come together and made a big impact on my life. Keeping it simple and breaking it down has meant I have been able to focus, and not feel overwhelmed by life. Start small and just keep growing and building. Every bit counts.

It doesn’t matter what life throws at me now. I have a framework that helps me grow into the person I want to be and live the life I want to live. My biggest aha moment is to love myself for who I am, be kind to myself and others.

The Bootcamp has had a huge impact on my life. The biggest impact is on my mindset – in less than a year, I changed my mindset, lost and maintained a healthy weight, and was in a better place to be able to support my Dad as he battled with the cancer. I improved my relationship with my former partner and my son. I undertook study and during an organisation redesign at work, I kept myself strong and obtained a regrading. The second year, I have focussed on healing myself emotionally after the loss of my father and my son moving out. I also received a promotion at work and have achieved the salary banding I set myself 18 months ago. My journey continues. Next year, I plan to improve my finances and to finally undertake the Portugese Camino.

I recommend the Happiness Hunter Bootcamp for anyone who is looking for a better balance in life – because to do that you need to find balance within yourself and then across all the different elements of life. The framework provides the opportunity to build a decision making framework, take inspired action and discover your values and purpose, building a vision for your life.  The Happiness Hunter community provides connection and support, and you can tap into the expertise and knowledge of the leaders within the group, in real life or online.

The bootcamp is a journey, that can be repeatedly taken and the framework will help you to overcome further challenges and obstacles in your life.

The journey to changing my life started in mid-2016 when I decided I needed to leave a dysfunctional and damaging long-term relationship.  I was very unhappy and did not want to live that way anymore.   I wanted to be happy and live a peaceful life.  I set about ending my relationship, changing my job, selling my home and buying what I could afford on my own.  These goals were achieved by March this year and were to set me on the path to happiness.   I didn’t know it was only the beginning of what I now understand will be a life-long journey.

I had started seeing a clinical psychologist to deal with all the stuff in my head; emotions of anger, hurt and loss, a sense of betrayal and anxiety over money and the future.  While intellectually I understood what was going on with me and why, I was really struggling to move on emotionally.  Really old stuff that I thought I’d dealt with years ago was coming up. Negative thoughts and emotions were re-playing day and night.   I could find lots of things to do to make me happy in the moment but I knew I wasn’t happy on the inside.  I realise now that I was stuck because while having insight was good, I lacked the tools to make the changes required to end the spinning in my head.

I first read something written by Fiona Redding in May this year; she popped up on my Facebook feed and I was instantly attracted to what this young woman was saying.  She was telling me I could be happy!  Everyone can be happy!  That we deserve to be happy!  We can change our life if we want to!  She was so excited, enthused, vibrant, full of energy and life, honest, raw and fully authentic.  Here was someone who had dealt with her own crap, now loved her life and I thought I want what she’s having!  I no longer wanted to just be happy, I wanted to love my life.  I wanted to build a life I love.

I started with the Shift Your Gaze 21 day challenge in July.  I hadn’t connected with anyone at Happiness Hunters yet but registered for the challenge.  This consisted of an emailed video message every morning with a theme and action for the day.  I listened to these messages every morning, waking up early so I could do this in bed and set my mood and action for the day.  My gaze was definitely shifting.

By the time the challenge finished I had resigned and left my job.  I was very unhappy with the culture of the new workplace I had gone into and I felt I was compromising my integrity and my wellbeing by being there.  I didn’t have another job but my family needed me and I needed space and time.

Fiona and I started talking about me participating in Bootcamp in September.  I wanted to but part of me was putting up some resistance.  I didn’t really know Fiona or anything about The Happiness Hunters and here I was about to hand over all this money.  I decided to trust my intuition and Fiona.  I didn’t have expectations; I went in open to whatever might happen.

I found the Bootcamp live calls each week really add value to the work on content we were doing during the week.  The honest sharing of participants was humbling, thought provoking and insightful.  Week by week we worked through the content, focused on the vision we have for our lives and how to build a framework to achieve our vision.  I have learned to structure time in my day for meditation, something I never imagined I would do but now would not want to live without.  I walk twice a day with purpose – to be in the moment, no phone, no music.  Bootcamp resources support everything you need to guide you and have exposed me to resources – people, books, meditations, videos, I would never have known how to even look for, but have enriched this whole experience.

In October I participated in the Happiness Hunter two day retreat with a small but beautiful group of people.  Lead by Fiona we participated in group workshops, healing sessions, meditation, walks and of course some yummy food, feeding the tummy as well as the soul.  A major insight for me has been that I had been using my past to define me and that I no longer needed for me to be a victim.  I left the retreat feeling uplifted and with tools and strategies to continue moving along the path to happiness that I’ve chosen.

In many ways I don’t recognise myself from who I was in February this year.  There will always be pieces of me that need working on, stuff will continue to come up, but I can make a conscious choice as to how I will react and respond.  I know I don’t have to follow my negative thoughts.  My day to day life is now calm and peaceful, a description I’ve never used before.  I’ve reconnected with my spiritual life and I’m reconnecting with old friends and nurturing new friendships.   I’m creating boundaries for the first time.  These are not inflexible but support me to live peacefully and do the things that are important to me.

When I look back over my life, always when I’ve been at rock bottom, people have come into my life that have shown me another way.  As a friend said to me recently “When the student is ready the teacher will appear” – Fake Buddah quote apparently!

I’m so grateful I found the Happiness Hunters; you guys inspire me every day.

One of the biggest benefits I have found in joining the Happiness Hunter Bootcamp is the ongoing connection to a community committed to personal growth and supporting each other. Although when I joined I had already invested a lot of time and resources into my personal development, I knew my biggest challenge I had was to keep the momentum going in my everyday life. It can be very easy for me to slip back into my old ways and thinking patterns without connection to a growth mindset environment. The lessons taught in the Bootcamp give a solid base, structure and a powerful set of tools to overcome life’s challenges and to continue revisiting as a way of creating a happy and fulfilling life.

My personal growth is a continuous journey and each time I revisit the Bootcamp I find new ways I can improve my life and most importantly my relationships with others and that has made a big difference to both my personal and professional life.

I would highly recommend the Happiness Hunter Bootcamp to anyone who is wanting to make real and lasting change in their life. This isn’t just a course that you do and then go back to your old life with little change, it’s connection to a community who want the very best for you and will continue to support you on your journey through all life’s ups and downs so you can continue to be the very best version of you and create a life you truly love.

Four years ago, I made a decision that was to profoundly alter the course of my life.

From being a (very, very) social drinker in my twenties, travelling the world, studying, and generally living the good life, continuing into my thirties… I suddenly found myself at 37, at home with two tiny kids, overweight, incredibly unhappy, spending my life with the wrong person, unemployed (and, I felt, unemployable –  never mind the fact that I had a degree and over a decade of really great work experience under my belt), a bleak vision for my future and…  drinking every day.

Thinking every day, just what THE HELL HAS HAPPENED HERE???!!?

How had this become my life?

I remember one time I was driving my car and I looked in the rear-view mirror at my kids and I just knew that something had to change. And that the change needed to start with me stopping drinking.

And there were other things that I knew that had to change, but this was the first thing. Big scary thought.  Too big to even comprehend really.

So I just kept on going with the drinking, feeling bad, feeling guilty and feeling hungover on more days than not.

I felt powerless.  And just not sure of what to do next.

I looked into AA. It was not for me. I kept on drinking.  I kept on with the unhappiness.  And I kept on feeling trapped.

But something had shifted.

Because I had AWARENESS.

And I knew that the drinking was a clue. (And, by this stage I had also made the decision to separate from my kids dad as well, but had got no further with that decision than that).

BIG changes afoot.

So I Googled and stumbled across a website called Hello Sunday Morning.  And signed up on the spot for a three month break from drinking.

In that moment when I signed up, in a split second of time, I decided that I was going to choose happiness for my life.

It was a powerful intention and led to a most magnificent path opening up for me. People, opportunities, videos, books, random comments – the entire Universe seemed to be conspiring to help me uncover my own truth and what unconditional happiness means to me.

Starting with the no drinking thing, over the last two years, I have intuitively applied a number of steps to any issue, problem or challenge I faced. Firstly, I needed to accept where I was.  That this was between me and me, and had nothing to do with anyone else.  Then I had to forgive myself for being there.  And thirdly I needed to have gratitude.

Gratitude is the key to abundance in anything.

I had to get clear on why I wanted to change, what I wanted for my life and how I wanted to be living it.   This then became my reference point, my decision making framework. I had to understand myself, my weaknesses, my darkness.

And I needed to understand the gaps between where I was now, and where I wanted to be.  I had to be brutally honest with myself.I learned that everything in this Universe is energy.  And that this energy is governed by Universal laws.

I had to accept that my thoughts and my beliefs – whether conscious or unconscious – created my reality.

And I learnt that I was the only one who could turn this ship around.

But that I had to take responsibility for my own emotional state, for clearing my programming and letting go of stories and memories that weren’t allowing the life I wanted to be living to materialise.fitforbiz

I made it my mission to create the life that I wanted to be living and I decided to do WHATEVER IT TOOK to allow it.

I focused on becoming 100% empowered for the direction my life was taking.

I became The Happiness Hunter.

And in this process, I found a way that works.  It really, really works.

And it doesn’t have to cost thousands of dollars.  It doesn’t have to involve hours or years in therapy. It just involves learning a new way of thinking and visualising and acting. It is actually, fundamentally, very simple.

The thing you think is the thing, is never the thing.

The Thing Is Never The Thing

So for me, the thing was drinking, but really that was just the result of a whole lot of beliefs I had about myself. The same process can be applied to any single thing that is presenting in your life (or is noticeably absent).

By applying the steps, over the last two years:

  • I managed to give up drinking (it has now been over two years),
  • Have an amicable separation from my partner and be raising two really happy little kids,
  • Become the fittest, healthiest, happiest I have ever been in my life (losing over 10 kilos with NO DIETING),
  • I have intuitively built a successful business that is satisfying on a multitude of levels, and
  • I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by amazing people.

There is no silver bullet to transforming our lives.

But I have found an approach that works. And it works on ANYTHING.

It has taken me two years to be able to distill it into these very simple steps, and about 6 months of having to apply the steps to myself to be able to get it into an on-line program format.

And now, I am ready to teach it to YOU.

Learn The Simple Steps for Transformation That You Can Apply To Any Area Of Your Life

Happiness is to be found in the overcoming of obstacles and challenges in our lives, not in the absence of them.

It starts with a powerful intention and then a consistent, steady approach. Just like you bathe every day, or you feed your body nourishing food, or you get  your car serviced… you also need to keep taking responsibility for your emotional well-being and managing your energetic vibration.

This is a 3 month bootcamp with lifetime access all of the resources and materials, including a dedicated Facebook group. The steps are very simple, yet completely transformational and they can be applied to every single area and element in your life.

You will discover what you want for your life, how you want to be living it, understand what is stopping you AND have the tools to get out of your own way.

Once you have signed up, will be able to participate in all live rounds and access all of the live webinars, being part of a beautiful on-line community of good people, as well as attend unlimited walks (and start your own).

Are you ready to tap into your true potential, your natural state and learn how to experience unconditional happiness?

Do you want to:

  • be healthier
  • more confident
  • stop self sabotaging
  • improve your relationships
  • find your career path
  • be happier
  • improve your financial situation
  • enjoy your life more
  • understand the stories that are holding you back
  • connect with other great, real people who can support you as you support them
  • {insert goal here}

You may be feeling a sense of quiet discomfort that THIS IS ACTUALLY YOUR LIFE and you don’t know where to start to turn things around.

You want a greater level of self awareness.

You want more fun and joy and ease and flow in your life.
