About Fiona Redding
Fiona Redding, founder of The Happiness Hunter, helps people become happier. She has helped people find happiness – from all backgrounds, demographics, and stages of life. Her clients and students include young parents, empty nesters, jobseekers, retirees, entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals and every person in between. What all of her clients have in common is that they want to be happier. If you want to be happier, she is here for you too.
Working together, she helps build resilience, greater financial security, more harmony in relationships, a sense of calm and hope for the future, reduces stress and increases productivity.
Fiona is a mindset coach, business strategist, facilitator and motivational speaker. She hosts the popular The Happiness Hunter podcast that is listened to across the globe. Currently sitting at over 130 episodes, she has never missed releasing an episode, publishing weekly (even in the middle of a global pandemic), moving home (twice) with her kids, and completely transforming her business during months of home-learning. She also co-hosts the Business Addicts podcast, is a teacher on Insight Timer and is the author of The Happiness Hunter’s Guide to Meditation and It Is Possible: let go of who you think you are to live the life of your dreams.
Fiona walks the talk. Her mission in life is to share everything she has learned – and is continuing to learn – about turning her own life around: through overcoming a problematic drinking habit, health challenges, financial stress, unemployment, a relationship breakdown, single parenthood, being homeless and re-engineering her business back from the brink during the global pandemic.
Like a breath of fresh air, hugely honest and deeply thought provoking, Fiona will turn the idea of work-life balance on its head, inspiring you instead to think about your life holistically and in its entirety.
She shares life (and business) changing tools and strategies, including how making your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing the priority will lead to success in every area of your life, stepping you through the process to clear the clutter and to live the life of your dreams.
This program will change your life – but don’t just take my word for it
The course has been instrumental in teaching me about living in the present and not looking behind, “where I am now, is where I am now, and where I am now is perfect”. Learning this concept and the “Circle of Responsibility” both teach you so much about what I am in control of. This has changed my view on handling both personal and business relationships.
Since doing Fi’s course, I am much more in tune with my day to day and also very aware of what is in my control and what I am responsible for. I am able to look at what truly matters, not what I thought was important, work more effectively in setting up my day, align business relationships with my own values and now recognise how important it is to take the time I need for me.
I decided to take the plunge out of my comfort zone and accept Fiona’s invitation to the Steps For Change.
Fiona assured me that my life would change, and it has. The process of the programme is on-going and my self awareness and confidence is now unlimited.
If you have a desire for answers to personal issues you may have, or challenge yourself for more growth, then I would highly recommend The Happiness Hunter’s Steps For Change.
Fiona is amazing in her insightful perception and ability to seek, search and guide us to change direction in our lives.
In November – December 2020, I completed Fiona’s 42 day “Steps for Change” Program. To say this program is life-changing is not an overestimation.
I have done a number of personal development courses, but I rate this at number 1. The reason why, is because Fiona explores in depth many of the issues we struggle with, and by providing the information and practical tools on how to better manage them,
gives us the opportunity to be able to live a more meaningful and purposeful life.
Fiona has put a lot of research-based work into her program. She provides daily videos and practical exercises to work through, including a personal tracker to monitor your progress. To assist with the process, she also includes a twice weekly online group coaching session, and a weekly meditation. I would highly recommend the “Steps for Change” Program.
Fiona’s practical tools which she provides as an important part of the course is what really helped me. No other personal development program has provided me with such tools to assist me on my own journey to change. If you are thinking about doing this course, my advice is to make time in your day to complete each exercise. This will help you to get the most out of the course”.
I found the Steps for Change with the Happiness Hunter fantastic.
I was feeling stuck, so stuck, with some key aspects of my life, and not at all sure I could work my way out of it. Pretty hopeless really.
I joined because I had been to a half day workshop with Fiona some months prior, and then spoke to Fiona on the phone about how she could help, and the Steps for Change seemed right.
I knew the program was for 42 days, which is the right amount of time, so I took the plunge and signed up. It has lots of structure, and lots of varied and informative resources to assist – more than I have ever seen described in a program before.
In my opinion, this program really works because it appeals to head, heart, mind, body and soul. There is stuff in it to use to work through your ‘stuff’ – and after some tears, honest reflection, chatting with Fiona and the group I worked through it. I loved the journalling, meditation, frameworks, prescription of exercise and looking at things holistically – the whole picture of your life.
I now feel much better, have hope for the present and future. I was able to look at some important things differently, and give myself room to move.
My advice is do it.
It’s been a life changing six weeks in my household. I initially attended a half day workshop with Fiona and loved her firm but fair reflection and challenges on my so-called excuses I kept providing. When someone can respectfully call you on your BS and challenge you to go deeper to find your why, that someone is worth spending more time with, it was this honestly which led me to join the program.
I joined because I didn’t know what made me happy anymore, I was overweight and forgetting meetings and family events I would triple booking myself and always saying I am soooooo busy. You could say, I was all over the shop! I thought if I had someone to be accountable to get fit and organised my diary that’s all I needed help with.
What I got was a lot more, I started on the fitness journey and then through the various activities and video calls all these other things in my life popped up which I needed to address, my relationship with my daughters, my relationship with my husband, wanting to please everyone so saying yes to every request people put in front of me etc etc. Every time one of these would pop up, Fiona guided me through how to accept it, how to forgive and how to be grateful for the opportunity. I can honestly say in the six weeks there is no more screaming at my children, I have date nights with hubby (thanks to awesome people who watch the kids) , boundaries set with my work, I have set a vision for my life, my kids even help with my vision every day, I meditate morning and night (I didn’t even know what this now and now I can’t live without it), even hubby meditates with me, I go to CrossFit four times a week and to top it off I have lost six kilos, through a healthy mind, body and exercise.
I went all in, everyone’s experience will be different, but for me, I took every piece of advice that was shared. I listened to other participant’s stories and really reflected on what I was hearing. I was completely open to feedback and embraced it all. Once I realised that if I have a problem with something it was worth spending the time sitting in it uncomfortably to be able to realise what it was, why it impacted me and how I could change my behaviors towards it. I now fully believe we all have choices and we are all responsible for those choices, no excuses, just own it and make the right one. Accept it, forgive it and be grateful for it.
I have a vision of the way I want life to go and I’m in the driver’s seat to make it happen. Today and every day I am going to take one step / one action so that I can get closer to that vision.
As Oprah says ‘ Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.’
I only wanted to lose weight and instead I found my self-worth again, I am grateful everyday, especially that I can share this with my family and they have supported me every step of the way. Thanks Fi for helping me shine xxx
The best thing I did in 2020 was to invest in myself and do The Steps for Change with Fiona Redding.
I’d hit a roadblock personally and in my career/business. Struggling with mindset, overwhelm, procrastination and a lack of direction, I was fully stuck going nowhere fast. I’ve faced and overcome BIG challenges, but could not find my way out of this sinkhole.
This program is NEXT LEVEL. Go in with an open heart and an open mind. Fi is with you every step of the way, along with your fellow steppers. You’ll learn from their journey too.
I have found focus, direction and flow. I am motivated and excited for the future! I’ve been able to reconcile a relationship which I never thought I would be able to do – with myself. I have let go of limiting beliefs. I have made more progress in 6 weeks then I have in years. The Steps for Change is life changing.
I’ve been a Happiness Hunter for 5 years, and every time I have worked with Fi the gains and benefits have always outweighed the investment I have made. Take the plunge and trust the journey.
When Fiona first told me about The Steps For Change course, I was not convinced I could do it – I worried about the money, could I find the time… I also wasn’t sure I could change and actually did I need to change? Well, yes, I did. My life was far from bad but my general MO was to drift along, hoping that things would work out, but with no specific plans or goals; I truly believed that at my age (58) it was a bit late to think about buying my own place, and money, although I manage OK, was a constant little black cloud in the back of my mind. I probably didn’t contemplate the future and how it was going to look very much, because I had no idea I knew I would be working long and hard for a long time but beyond that I wasn’t sure.
Financially, I was definitely coming from a place of lack. But once I made up my mind to do it, I felt excited to see how the future would look, I decided to throw myself right in and commit to doing the best I could and kind of knew immediately it was going to be a good thing.
Doing very basic things like walking every day and drinking enough water, practising gratitude and journaling were very simple but make a big difference to how you feel about yourself and life. And meditating was a bit of a revelation to me – I had always wanted to and had done a bit during yoga classes in the past but doing it everyday, I actually fell in love with it; most days I would do it morning and night.
I learned so much each day – towards the second half of the course I got a bit overwhelmed and worried a bit about not keeping up, but that really is not a thing – you can work through at your own pace, there’s no race to the end involved so it’s perfectly fine to continue and finish afterwards. Now I’m actually starting from the beginning again, working through slowly and getting more from it.
My main “wins” were actually setting a goal (that was surprisingly hard for me); being able to look at myself and not just see where my gaps were but also my strengths; understanding how I was looking at the past and the events that had led me to where I am now; understanding how I saw my relationships; the forgiveness (which I originally thought was a bit woo woo!) was actually so helpful and necessary – I didn’t get it straight away but glad I kept trying; deciding how I wanted to show up in my life – it’s a work in progress but I have a better idea of how that can be; money…. well, my affirmations were mainly around abundance and I really did find that once I’d decided money would not be a problem for me, it wasn’t. I didn’t become rich overnight or anything like that but changing my attitude really changed everything. I made the cost of the course back before it ended, I found ways to make extra cash and did actually find “treasure” all around me.
I feel I am no longer coming from a place of lack but from a more confident place where I know money will flow – there will be enough, and eventually more than enough. It’s a big step to even start on the Steps For Change but I am so glad I took it, I am glad I trusted Fiona and glad I trusted myself. Three glads in one sentence. PS I also met some wonderful people who took the journey with me and am hoping we will check in with each other from time to time and let each other know how we are travelling now we’re flying solo! (I also love the Today Is A Great Day FB page – a constant source of inspiration and new things to learn and consider)”
Completed the Steps for Change in May 21, after months of thinking about starting, I took the plunge and committed. Well what a journey! 🎉🎉 It has given me the tools to navigate all aspects of business, family and most importantly ME! My biggest win has been finding my inner peace and abundance. Each journey is different but so glad I took the plunge! a BIG THANK YOU – Just do it!
I’ve been working with Fiona since March when I listened to her self-sabotage webinar. I’ve done the Steps for Change and am now working one-on-one with Fiona weekly.
I cannot emphasize how pivotal working with her has been in changing the trajectory of my life. I’ve been living at home with my parents and my two young children after getting divorced in 2019. I’d been trying to get my business off the ground, but was self-sabotaging in many ways because of my beliefs about myself and money.
This month, I am getting ready to move into my own space with my kids, and I have made back my initial investment from the Steps for Change program 4 TIMES OVER. I didn’t even know initially how I was going to pay for the program, but Fiona assured me that the way would become clear.
This is through just 4 months of working with Fiona. I just agreed to another 8 months of working together because I know that the results will be transformational.
Fiona walks the walk, and gives me the necessary push and support to get on my feet. If you’re wanting to reach out to Fiona, but are nervous or unsure, go for it. She’ll be honest about whether or not she can help you.
Steps for Change Participant August 2020
The Steps for Change Program is the best thing that I have ever done for myself and wellbeing.

I just completed The Steps For Change with Fiona and I have never experienced a more life changing program. The elements – like anything worthwhile – require commitment and consistency to achieve results. But Fiona’s tools and delivery are so powerful that once you dive in you will be amazed by the change you see in your outlook and the shift in your mindset. This improves your life and the lives of those around you. I cannot recommend doing this program highly enough to EVERYONE.
