The course has been instrumental in teaching me about living in the present and not looking behind, “where I am now, is where I am now, and where I am now is perfect”. Learning this concept and the “Circle of Responsibility” both teach you so much about what I am in control of. This has changed my view on handling both personal and business relationships.

I decided to take the plunge out of my comfort zone and accept Fiona’s invitation to ……..the Steps For Change.

In November – December 2020, I completed Fiona’s 42 day “Steps for Change” Program. To say this program is life-changing is not an overestimation.

I have done a number of personal development courses, but I rate this at number 1. The reason why, is because Fiona explores in depth many of the issues we struggle with, and by providing the information and practical tools on how to better manage them, gives us the opportunity to be able to live a more meaningful and purposeful life.

Fiona has put a lot of research-based work into her program. She provides daily videos and practical exercises to work through, including a personal tracker to monitor your progress. To assist with the process, she also includes a twice weekly online group coaching session, and a weekly meditation. I would highly recommend the “Steps for Change” Program.

Fiona’s practical tools which she provides as an important part of the course is what really helped me. No other personal development program has provided me with such tools to assist me on my own journey to change. If you are thinking about doing this course, my advice is to make time in your day to complete each exercise. This will help you to get the most out of the course”.

When Fiona first told me about The Steps For Change course, I was not convinced I could do it – I worried about the money, could I find the time… I also wasn’t sure I could change and actually did I need to change? Well, yes, I did. My life was far from bad but my general MO was to drift along, hoping that things would work out, but with no specific plans or goals; I truly believed that at my age (58) it was a bit late to think about buying my own place, and money, although I manage OK, was a constant little black cloud in the back of my mind. I probably didn’t contemplate the future and how it was going to look very much, because I had no idea I knew I would be working long and hard for a long time but beyond that I wasn’t sure.

Financially, I was definitely coming from a place of lack. But once I made up my mind to do it, I felt excited to see how the future would look, I decided to throw myself right in and commit to doing the best I could and kind of knew immediately it was going to be a good thing.

Doing very basic things like walking every day and drinking enough water, practising gratitude and journaling were very simple but make a big difference to how you feel about yourself and life. And meditating was a bit of a revelation to me – I had always wanted to and had done a bit during yoga classes in the past but doing it everyday, I actually fell in love with it; most days I would do it morning and night.

I learned so much each day – towards the second half of the course I got a bit overwhelmed and worried a bit about not keeping up, but that really is not a thing – you can work through at your own pace, there’s no race to the end involved so it’s perfectly fine to continue and finish afterwards. Now I’m actually starting from the beginning again, working through slowly and getting more from it.

My main “wins” were actually setting a goal (that was surprisingly hard for me); being able to look at myself and not just see where my gaps were but also my strengths; understanding how I was looking at the past and the events that had led me to where I am now; understanding how I saw my relationships; the forgiveness (which I originally thought was a bit woo woo!) was actually so helpful and necessary – I didn’t get it straight away but glad I kept trying; deciding how I wanted to show up in my life – it’s a work in progress but I have a better idea of how that can be; money…. well, my affirmations were mainly around abundance and I really did find that once I’d decided money would not be a problem for me, it wasn’t. I didn’t become rich overnight or anything like that but changing my attitude really changed everything. I made the cost of the course back before it ended, I found ways to make extra cash and did actually find “treasure” all around me.

I feel I am no longer coming from a place of lack but from a more confident place where I know money will flow – there will be enough, and eventually more than enough. It’s a big step to even start on the Steps For Change but I am so glad I took it, I am glad I trusted Fiona and glad I trusted myself. Three glads in one sentence. PS I also met some wonderful people who took the journey with me and am hoping we will check in with each other from time to time and let each other know how we are travelling now we’re flying solo! For the last 40 years I have actively imprisoned myself and my children to an extreme religion that programmed me and my children. It destroyed my relationship with my children. I was sick for so long. I believed I was going to die shortly in a horrible death. It led me to thinking to put some meditation and journaling into practice. And that led me to a presentation by Fiona Redding on self-sabotage, which then led me to a fantastic opportunity, The Steps for Change. I was able to completely let go. To just change. I changed my mind, I changed my life, my attitude, my words, I changed my thinking, my behaviour, my vision, my present, my future, desiring all these things to happen. Well they did happen, because the environment was safe and supportive enough to love exactly who I was. And exactly who I have become. The Steps for Change changed my every thought, every action, my voice, my person. That is powerful. At the age of 65 to be able to change like that. When I have come from such damaging, destructive programming and conditioning, coming out of that, to this. It’s miraculous. My relationships with my children are miraculous. My work is a miracle. So going on with the tools that Fiona uses in The Steps for Change. Those tools are simply offered up to you and you can choose to use them or not. I grabbed them and I used them and used them to get the results that I wanted to acquire. And they are cherished and put in a special treasure box, because of course I want to go back and refresh and keep using them. Because change and growth are a journey. Thankfully, a journey that goes on forever, not only for my own wellbeing but for the world’s wellbeing. Fiona is a fantastic person, to educate with these tools, because it comes from a very honest and empowering place. So with this freedom that I have, coming out of The Steps for Change has given me, of course, freedom, happiness, loving awareness to honestly, honestly just enjoy being myself. I’ve been working with Fiona since March when I listened to her self-sabotage webinar. I’ve done the Steps for Change and am now working one-on-one with Fiona weekly.
I cannot emphasize how pivotal working with her has been in changing the trajectory of my life. I’ve been living at home with my parents and my two young children after getting divorced in 2019. I’d been trying to get my business off the ground, but was self-sabotaging in many ways because of my beliefs about myself and money.
